Club 307 – Long Beach Pike – Vintage Tiki Tee

Long Beach had places that stayed open late. The Pike had places that seemed actively opposed to sunrise.

Somewhere in the middle of the neon, carnival lights, sailors, jukeboxes, and bad decisions sat Club 307 — South Seas Tropical Cocktails. This was early California tiki before the polished chains and souvenir mugs took over. Less postcard paradise, more waterfront escapism with a little grit still on the glassware. The kind of place where one drink quietly became the entire evening.

The graphic pulls straight from that world with weathered halftone lettering, flowing “South Seas” script, and the clean commercial feel of a midcentury cocktail menu or matchbook rescued from a jacket pocket. Printed in sun-faded mint green, it somehow works equally well in daylight or under low bar lights after midnight.

People who know Long Beach history tend to stop when they see this one. Same with old-school tiki collectors and anyone drawn to the rougher edges of California nightlife before everything got cleaned up and rebranded.

Wear it to the bar, wear it to the tiki spot, wear it someplace that still has a functioning jukebox and at least one regular nobody fully understands.
