Places like this glowed after dark with backlit carvings, cigarette haze, clinking ice, and waitresses balancing flaming drinks through crowded rooms beneath carved beams darkened by decades of rum fumes.
This graphic feels pulled straight from a 1950s matchbook cover. Bold halftone printing. Oversized idol carving. Palm silhouettes fading into the background like a memory from a vacation nobody entirely remembers correctly.
And that phone number at the bottom? OLYMPIC 6-5161. Old Los Angeles operator-exchange magic. The kind of detail that instantly dates the room to an era when cocktails came with dry ice and ashtrays weighed five pounds.
